MJ Woody (harpsickhord) @Jo: Yeah, she is. =) I'll put up a character profile if I get permission to start a blog. ;)

Hmm....I haven't done that yet. xD I'm kind of a new writer--I've only been one for a few months.

TTPBM: You?

message 7652: by [deleted user] (new)

It varies from Doomsday-Tennant sad to notoriously evil. Depends.

TTPBM: Dream of a good story to write and then not remember it or have a good story in your head and be unable to write it?

message 7653: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
The latter. I'd rather be able to enjoy it still in my head.

TTPBM: To plot, or not to plot? Do you plot your stories, or just write and see where they go?

message 7654: by MJ (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) PLOT. But the other way could be interesting too....I just like to able to see where I am going.

TTPBM: One story idea that you want to write but haven't started yet?

message 7655: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
I have many. One is a story about a young man in Regency London, England, taken in off the street by an elderly man to help him finish his book. Sounds boring at the moment, but one day I want to write it, and make it more exciting.

TTPBM: You?

message 7656: by MJ (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) SOUNDS AMAZING!!

Me? Let's see...there is this one about a girl who wakes up in a different world as a different person. She struggles to adapt to this alien new world, and along the way meets a young physiatrist who believes her story and wants to help her get through everything.

TTPBM: Tell me one random thing that about yourself that I don't already know.

message 7657: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't know if you've picked this up from things, but let's just see. I live on a lake in a cottage.

TTPBM: An embarrassing story?

*hugs* Thank you! :D :D I got as far as working out some names for the characters, but then couldn't work out the plot and left it. I'd like to go back and work on it when I'm a little older.

You live on a lake, Tessa?! Woah. Cool.

Er, an embarrassing story? Like, which one Hmmm. Probably when I prank called Pizza Hut as a kid and asked for a vegetarian pizza 'with extra meat'. And the server mis-heard me somehow and said, 'Sure, coming right up.' Eh. I hung up pretty fast, I can tell you.

That wasn't particularly embarrassing, but I can't think of a non-awkward one xD

TTPBM: Something you did/said as a little kid that you're proud of?

message 7659: by [deleted user] (new)

I survived.

Just kidding...hmm, it was probably when I was at school and there were a few of the usual jerks pushing people around and I remember saying these exact words to the leader of them: "Your goading and bullying tactics are feeble and near ludicrous to the fact that you only do so out of a desecrated childhood. Your overwhelming incompetence and inability to do anything expressing intelligence both astounds and disgusts me. In other words, leave them alone and chase after me instead once you figure out what I just said, moron."

I wouldn't say I'm exactly proud of it, because I had been a little mean no matter how mad this bully made other people, but I like the big words and the fanciness of it all with the totally ghetto ending. Me in a nutshell.

*cough* That was long.

TTPBM: Have you ever heard a little kid say something cute or funny? If so, what?

Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (taelianaofthewind) | 1580 comments ...

Really. Cool. That rocks Tessa,

Besides squealing and running around not too much so, no.

TTPBM: Hop around sqeeing if you're a fangirl?

message 7661: by [deleted user] (new)

Is the question would I hop around squealing if I'm a fangirl? Yeah, totes.

TTPBM: Least favorite fandom?

Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (taelianaofthewind) | 1580 comments Yep, sorry for obfuscating that meaning. But yay! I'm not alone then.

(*Do not have one so I'll refrain from disallowing other people to post...*crossed fingers*)

message 7663: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) I don't have a fandom specifically.......

message 7664: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
Least favourite? . . . It wouldn't be a fandom if I didn't love it. However, probably the fandom I don't love as much any more would be Warrior Cats . . . I used to love them as a kid, but I've grown out of them a bit since then xD I only read the newest books out of loyalty to the author -- And they aren't as good any more, either.

So Warriors would be my least favourite fandom.

TTPBM: One thing you were obsessed with as a kid?

message 7665: by [deleted user] (new)

Eyes I was so obsessed with eyes it was crazy and dogs too.

TTPBM favorite nail polish color

message 7666: by Chantae (new)

Chantae B. Black or red or black with red crackle over it
(Eyes are awesome)
TPBM Celebrity idol?

message 7667: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, there's so many. Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson, Tom Hiddleston, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, David Tennant, Billie Piper, Jesy Nelson, far too many.

TTPBM: People you looked up to as a child?

message 7668: by [deleted user] (new)

(sunday school answer alert) JESUS!!!! =D =D =D

A life without books or a life without any form of television/movies etc. (so none of the shows and movies we love and adore today would exist.)

(Mind you, there would not be books but there would still be storytellers. Stories would be told and retold an reinvented by different people. And there would still be plays to watch. Hmm..."Doctor Who the Musical" =P)

message 7669: by MJ (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) A life without any form of TV/movies.

TTPBM: The book or series that really got you interesting in reading/reading more as a child?

message 7670: by [deleted user] (new)

The Phantom Tollbooth

TTPBM: Which would be you're dream come true:
1)Send a letter to you favorite author (who is still alive...) and have them respond with a lengthy, sweet, hand-written response?
2)Get front seats to a concert of your favorite band/singer, have them high five you during the concert as they pass, and get a photo with them+autograph afterward?
Or 3)spend five minutes or more talking with your favorite actor and then getting to watch them perform on set?

(please also name who the person would be =D)

message 7671: by MJ (last edited Nov 11, 2013 01:19PM) (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tom Hiddleston. =)

TTPBM: Same

Number three. (All my favourite authors are dead)
I would meet Tom Hiddleston, obviously. :D :D :D By the way, now I'm excited for something that'll never happen xD

TTPBM: You?

message 7673: by [deleted user] (new)

1, and my favorite author....hmm. Either Bryan Davis or JK Rowling. I might someday actually write them a letter...maybe.

TTPBM:

Tom Hiddleston or David Tennant?

Haha, I didn't even see your post, but it still worked. And yay!! We chose exactly the same xDD

@Abby:

Because I'm in a super fangirly mood right now after watching part of Return to Cranford Because he's amazing.

TTPBM: Become a bestselling author, or a famous actor?

message 7675: by MJ (last edited Nov 11, 2013 01:26PM) (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) TOM HIDDLESTON--Is that not obvious enough?!

TTPBM: Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Hiddleston?

EDIT: @Jo: Bestselling author.

TTPBM: You?

message 7676: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
Tom, and erm, probably actor . . . If I had the ability. But I can't act, so I'm going to go with author. :P

TTPBM: Last thing you seriously fangirled over?

message 7677: by MJ (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) Ummm...................The Day of The Doctor--trailer, theories, and all. TWELVE DAYS TO GO!

Bestselling author. Benedict Cumberbatch.

TTPBM: Write a hit bestseller that sells by the million in less than six months after publication, or write a book that isn't super popular at first but slowly increases and becomes a classic that will stand the test of time?

message 7679: by MJ (last edited Nov 11, 2013 01:39PM) (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) Test of time.

TTPBM: Write a best-selling book/series or direct a box-office hit movie?

message 7680: by [deleted user] (new)

Best selling series. Or book. (Almost. Published. Just. Last. Few. Tiny. Details.)

TTPBM: Favorite color?

message 7681: by MJ (new)

Uhhhh. Usually I see myself as a full-time writer/editor, living in a quiet house somewhere in England, or perhaps down the South of NZ, with a cat, and my book collection for company.
Probably not married, because my standards have been set by fictional characters, but we'll see when I we get there :P

TTPBM: I'm interested now -- You?

message 7686: by [deleted user] (new)

This'll be fun:
I'll live in the same area I live now, with a handsome, Godly husband who is sweet, humble, and adores me (as I adore him.) We'll have five kids. The oldest will be a girl, followed by another girl we'll adopt from either Mexico or China. And then I'll have twins (a boy and girl) followed by one more baby boy. They will be well behaved. We'll live in a single family home where I can both home school my children and write books. By then we'll get money from my books and my husband's steady job. All our kids will be saved by Jesus Christ at a young age.

That's my fantasy.

TTPBM: Dream pet? (Can be a fictional creature...)

message 7687: by [deleted user] (new)

A dracorn (dragon/unicorn). Yup. Just made that up on the spot, but that's what I want.

TTPBM: Dream spouse?

message 7688: by [deleted user] (new)

Humble
Loving
GODLY!
Preferably home schooled...
Good looking (but that's not that huge for me.)

TTPBM: Same question?

message 7689: by [deleted user] (new)

He/she's got to be honest, because I can't stand lies, positive, knowledge of human rights for both women, men, and those who classify themselves differently, a good sense of humour, and takes care of their body. He/she also better be comfortable with having a whole brood of children named after fictional characters.

TTPBM: If you had four children, two boys and two girls, what would you name them?

message 7690: by [deleted user] (new)

Jeremiah, Giovanna, Azalea, and Colton. In reality, I have no idea, but those are some ideas...

TTPBM, Same question?

message 7691: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
Oh, wow, how long have I spent working this out . . . ?
Boy - Wilberforce/William (I can't decide).
Boy - Martin.
Girl - I think I decided on Aletheia? The Greek word for Truth?
Girl - I'm out of girl names, ummm . . . I'd find someone to name her after.

Let's hope I have all boys if I have kids xD Or that my husband has some ideas.

TTPBM: Favourite era of history?

message 7692: by [deleted user] (new)

Bible times, probably.

TTPBM: What does you dream child look like and act like?

message 7693: by [deleted user] (new)

Dark hair, gray eyes, and very fast and full of energy. (S)He'd be spontaneous and like snuggling and reading and (s)he would be polite and courteous.

TTPBM: Have you ever seen someone in public and had a moment where you realize they look exactly like one of your favorite fictional characters, and if so, who?

Theodosia of the Fathomless Hall (taelianaofthewind) | 1580 comments Yes!! I completely have. Once we got out of a comics shop which our writing club in held in and er...

One of the people in the coffee shop looked very much like Kili, like, really much like Kili, I figured the actor was in New Zealand so couldn't be in a Nebraska coffee shop though and so didn't ask for his autograph.

=))

You forced it out of me okay? Perhaps I just spent too much time daydreaming after An Unexpected Journey...

TTPBM: Memory that makes you smile?(I may have asked this already, erk.)

message 7695: by Ruby (new)

Ruby (rsr13) | 179 comments The moment when I found the TMI series

TTPBM favorite book?

message 7696: by MJ (new)

MJ Woody (harpsickhord) You love reading, no? Then you should know that a bookworm can't EVER answer that question. It's like suicide or something.

TTPBM: Agrees with me? xD

message 7697: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, but I have it narrowed down to my two top favorite series and my favorite stand alone book.

TTPBM: Meet your favorite actor, or favorite fictional character? (Please name xD)

message 7698: by johanna (jo), soliloquist. (new)

johanna (jo) (johannad_m) | 11500 comments Mod
No, stop.
No.
No, I can't.
*blinks*
*tears*
*wails*
I CAN'T DO IT. I'M TORN. NO.

Actually, I think I'd choose character. I'd meet Sherlock Holmes. You all know what actor I'd want to meet, so no use repeating myself. :P

TTPBM: Now you. I want to pass on the cruelty of that question and watch someone else suffer. :P

message 7699: by [deleted user] (new)

Bloody hell...how do you choose? HOW DO YOU CHOOSE???
Nope.
I...
No. No. NO.
Um...
I think I'd choose character, because I have an ever so slightly larger chance of meeting the actor than a character, and that character would probably be...the Doctor? Garrus? Bilbo?
CHOOSING. SORRY. NOT HAPPENING.

TTPBM: If you were tortured for something, what would it be? (Belief, information, etc.)

message 7700: by [deleted user] (new)

Erm...I'd probably be tortured because I went to another country to spread the Gospel and got caught and was told to give up my faith and refused.

TTPBM: If you had a blog on writing and a current (alive) author commented how much they liked it, who would you want it to be?
