When the last book is finished I hope Rothfuss writes another novel or series of novels that jumps right into the same world, weather it be past or present from Kvothe's story

I want to see Kote leave the Wayside Inn, find Kvothe once more, and set out to discover whether or not his encounter with the Cthaeth led to all the chaos in his life and the rest of the world . . . Or if there's something else behind the war and mayhem.And he has a promise to keep to Felurian. Who, I am sure, can help him on his quests, because, as Kvothe realized, there is vastly more to her than what the legends dwell upon . . .
Yeah, I think it's pretty crazy the way Rothfuss makes you envision Kothe in the past and the present. I imagine them as completely different people and it's almost sad that something has happened to make him loose the fire that he had when he was younger. I think the end of the story is going to be him going back to Flurian
Im curious about what happens in book 3. From what i have gleamed the Chandrian are currently still alive while Kote runs his little Inn but he must still have something to do?..Once word gets out about his book and the Sithe realise he spoke the the Cthaeh?
Will he just finish telling his story, then Chronicler leaves and Kote goes back to polishing his bottles and bar :'(

Well, since we're 8 yrs into that 20 yrs, (the first was available /published in 2007), the 'fair play' you're speaking of is quite possible. :D
Has anyone else noticed that Kvothe and Rothfuss both have tremendous egos that constantly need stroking, or is it just me?

But I think you are quite thoroughly wrong, I can't recall any instance in which either Kvothe or Rothfuss have been fishing for such compliments, let alone many instances that you imply.
Kvothe does have a huge ego, I don't think he needs it stroked though, his head is too far up his ass for that

I hope he doesn't do what JK Rowling is doing, with all the unnecessary facts she is adding to the story. It reduces its value.
