Color of the Month is the new theme. Colorstrology combines the energy of color with numerology and astrology. Created by Michelle Bernhardt, it explains the qualities connected to each color and how color influences us.

Chris Does this mean the title has to have a color in it to apply for the challenge?

No. Pick any series you want.
The theme just adds information about each month. For the last 12 months, the theme was full moon names, before that it was flowers of the month.

I can't think of any cozy mystery series with colors in the name.

eta - The rules for this challenge are in message one.

Donna Swanson | 21 comments Gary wrote: "I will not be participating in August's challenge. I was hospitalized on Friday and will be released until Monday if I'm lucky." Sorry to hear you have had some disruption and pain! Take things slow! I am a former hospital chaplain, and I hated seeing my patients turn up again in pain a few days after their release, because they decided they just HAD to use their riding mower and cut the grass. Respect your recovery! It will often give you benefits you will not even be aware of for the rest of your life! You can't measure the pain you don't have to feel, or describe the recovery from the follow-up surgery you don't need to have! Good luck!

Gary Sundell | 794 comments A hospital is not a great place to read.

Gary Sundell | 794 comments Sepsis is a scary thing. Hopefully with a few hours of sleep and the wonders of modern antibiotics I will be fine. I got home late Friday afternoon.

I suspect I will be on antibiotics a lot longer than the 5 days they sent me out with.

Oleander | 80 comments For the series challenge, do they all have to be cozy? I have 4 cozy and one that's probably hard boil.

Cozy Mystery is the preferred genre for the serial reading challenge. That being said, you may use whatever genre you wish to add.

In my challenge, I will be adding Christian Fiction novels in a couple of months since I am trying to lessen my TBR mountain (which would be fine if I didn't add more to the list each day! 🤦‍♀️)

Oleander | 80 comments I do that too, Cheryl. Read one, add 3 or 4. Thanks for the answer.
