I just deleted my post, but don't yet know if that will stop the emails.

Yes, it'll stop the emails. You can also set your preferences to stop ALL comments on reviews. But then you won't be notified if someone comments on your own review.

All the emails from the last popular thread went to my SPAM folder thanks to the word "Cunnilingus" in the title. Hee.
