SOLVED. Orphanage attacked by a wolf thing, brother with a little physic sister? [s]

Ok so a long time ago I was reading this book I don't remember much but here goes:
Ok so it took place in this orphanage (for the most part) and basically one of the girls there was psychic adn so whenever the master of the place would pay a "surprise" visit, everyone would know before hand and get it ready and stuff. Also i think the orphanage was "haunted" by this wolf thing and I remember I think a boy was the main character and the girl was his little sister. So anyways one tday the wolf thing attacked the place, but before it came they barricaded everything except for one door i think downstairs in some sort of kitchen. And so the boy and I think the sort of "head mistress" lady went down there to try to shut it before it was to late and it ended up both of them holding the door. I don't remember much after that other than I think later on in the book the psychic girl was taken to this one lady for training. But I'm not sure. Also I THINK this book is part of a series. Anyways if anyone can help that would be AMAZING. Its kinda driving me insane. LOL anyways THANKS!

I don't remember much from it, but the words wolf and orphanage make me think of The Wolves of Willoughby Chase, which was part of a series.

Some parts sound a lot like Wolves of Willoughby Chase, but that has no psychic or fantasy elements. Any chance you're conflating two books, Maya?

Ok I read this book about 2009ish and I never got to finish it... Ummm I don't remember many details but I HINK the girl was maybe around 8 I'm pretty sure nobody else had psychic abilities. I don't remember anything else other harm the Delphi-keep book was one I kept thinking was the book but ended up not being it... Ug sorry if I'm not much help... I have serious memory problems.... Lol

The Wolves of Willoughby Chase is a great book, but neither of the main characters (girls) have psychic abilities.
