The book is about a woman, I believe was a detective or something, and she accidentally kills someone by hitting them with her car. Then she become a demigod type person because she killed a demigod. I believe she was similar to Athena or Apollo. There was a bad group of demigods and a good group of demigods. Also, she was left on a bus by her mother I think. I read this book 3 or 4 years ago.

The book is a paranormal fantasy.
