It took me a bit to get into the story but now I am pretty hooked! I like that their relationship is so different from the usual adorable and perfect relationships.

I'm just about to start the 22nd chapter. This is my first time ever buddy reading and I don't know how to hide he spoilers so I don't want to say too much!

Okay I am over half way done..

(view spoiler)[ It started off rather slow, but now that I am in the middle I just want to keep reading! I personally don't really like how mean she is to him. I mean I get why she is but no one should have to be treated like that. I hate her parents, its sad that they don't seem to care about her at all.
This is the first book I have read in a while with a narrator. There has been many times I have forgotten and then have to go back because I get confused! I am currently at the part where they are trying to figure out who is writing on her book (which I do not blame her for getting mad at him that time for thinking she was doing it herself, I mean DUH). For some reason I feel like it is her step-dad, I think he has access to her books and he seems like a jerk that would do that. I could see it maybe being someone from her gym class but taking that many trips back to the locker room would start to make someone stand out... (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ It CANNOT just end like that! There is still so much more I want to know! What happened to the kids? When the uncle went back did he get them all? Why did she just leave park high and dry like that for a year? Why didn't he just go back since he knew where she was? What there words were there exactly? I love you? It's not goodbye? I miss you? I'm coming home? Ugh. It was a cute way to end the book but I hated it... Because it was over! (hide spoiler)]

I was a little upset with the end (view spoiler)[ HOW did the family leave? Who did they live with? Did Eleanor ever move back in with her mom? (hide spoiler)] I think I read somewhere she wasn't going to write a second one but after the first she was starting a sequel then stopped.

I guess, you all were disappointed by the ending. I too found it incomplete. I too had a lot of questions about the ending. Good book, but ending spoiled it :(
