Thank you! I can't wait to see how he makes the reading lessons fun.

WOOO!

I feel like Feyre having to save Rhysand is too similar to having to save Tamlin in ACOTAR.
My original fear was that Feyre's High Lady powers would begin to manifest--to another court. This Nightmare court, perhaps. But then I remembered Rhysand ruled BOTH of them, so maybe they both could rule both. I don't think Maas would set up Feyre and Rhysand as mates, only to have them end up ruling different courts. Maybe that will be the big obstacle (because you know there will be one) keeping them apart, but I think if that's the case, they will find a way to rule together in the end. So they will be the first court(s) that have two rulers, equal in power.

I will!
Omg Lena and Aqsa you're so lucky! I will probably be bombarding you with messages, haha.

Um, the king of Hybern kidnapping Feyre? That would be in line with what Rhys said, about the things he loves being taken from him. Wasn't that his fear when it came to letting himself love Feyre? That as soon as he fell in love and she loved him back, they would be separated or something. I don't mean forever, but Rhys doesn't know that. There is war coming, after all, or maybe it will already start in this installment.

How are you getting yours so early??!!"
On Amazon, it seems they have it because when I clicked on adding the book usually when the book is not released yet it's written "preorder" but this time, it's written buy the book and they propose to deliver it in less than a day, in a day or in 5 days and I paid extra to have it tomorrow even tho it's Sunday. SO since I paid more, I guess I'm really going to have it tomorrow (crossing fingers)
EDIT: PS I live in France so I bought it via Amazon.fr (I have no idea if the Amazon US or another propose the same AND it's only for the Hardcover copy (it's not working for the paperback)

I will!

Ahahah I'm really hoping this is not a mistake and this is true. I'LL GLADLY READ ALL YOUR MESSAGES AND ANSWER (capital letters because I'm too excited for this) AND I'LL NEED SOMEONE TO TALK WITH (I can't do that alone and I'm not even being dramatic ^^)

I actually wonder who the quote "I would have torn the world apart to get you back" (or something along those lines) belongs to. Could be Tamlin, could be Rhys...

Who do you guys think is saying that?

I'm debating between Rhys and Feyre. It would be utterly sweet and an amazing show of Rhys love to Feyre to admit something like that. Or Feyre to Rhys because we all know that she's broken and needs someone who can help her put herself together and love her brokenness.

(I was originally going to get the Target edition, but I apparently have no self-restraint lol)

Haha I won't spoil you, no worries. If I post updates they won't be too spoilery or anything.

I actually wonder who the quote "I would have torn the world apart to get you back" (or something along those lines) belongs to. Could be Tamlin, could be Rhys...
I was about to post about this actually. It really could be anyone. Could be Feyre talking to Tamlin about when he went under the mountain, though tearing apart the world sounds too intense for her.
Could be Tamlin, referring to when Feyre gets taken to the Night Court, but I don't think he's going to do anything since he knows there's consequences for breaking bargains.
So my hunch is that it's Rhysand. Maybe Feyre is talking about her family, how they just let her go with Tamlin. And Rhys makes that comment.

I think it's definitely Feyre since this book focuses on how broken she is, and how she needs to heal. If she's talking to Tamlin, it's obviously in the beginning of the book. "Healing" implies she's still in the process, and I think when she confesses to Rhysand she will be "healed." So this could be Tamlin, as a way to reassure him.

I can't see it being Tamlin because even when Amarantha was torturing Feyre Tamlin did and said nothing. It was Rhysand who was calling out her name. Lucien who gasped. Tamlin didn't do or say anything until he got his powers back.

Also I just really want to give Maas a round of applause. I didn't really know what to expect when reading this book besides a Beauty and the Beast retelling. But man she took us on a ride I never expected the UtM scenes that whole part book was unexpected and a great surprise She's amazing!

I honestly only read Acotar for Rhysand (out of thirst and because I was having Darkling withdrawal). I never liked Feyre with Tamlin. And not even just their relationship- but Tamlin in general. I didn't find his character appealing at all.
I preferred Lucien to him! I loved Lucien since I met him.
Acomaf is a HUGE big deal right now guys like, it's like a breath of fresh air and I cannot believe things are finally going the way I want.
This book is going to be the best birthday present ever...

Also, I never hated Tamlin, but he and Feyre just didn't click/have chemistry to me. They're opposites in a lot of things and it always felt more like lust than love to me. (I also didn't appreciate how he interacted with her on Fire Night when he ignored her request to stop and told her not to disobey him. Yeah, he was on a magic-high, but it still bothered me. It also makes me wonder if we'll see more of that side of him in ACOMAF.)
I liked Rhys from the moment we met him as well. I always liked that the first interaction Feyre has with him is him protecting her; that positive foundation is so important for our understanding of his character since he has to play the villain for most of ACOTAR. They also just have such blatant chemistry that I always loved reading their scenes. (BRING ON MORE IN ACOMAF PLEASEEE haha)
As for the tearing the world apart quote, I have a feeling it will be Rhys saying it to Feyre - thought that could also be just me reallyyy wanting it haha. I could also see it being Feyre saying it as well, though!

I didn't hate their romance, but I didn't have much love for it either. (I always thought Feyre had more chemistry with Lucien anyway than Tam) And as soon as we met Rhysand, he just blew Tamlin away. His dynamic with Feyre was so much more interesting and full of chemistry. Not to mention the emotional bonding they have under the mountain. It was just so much...more than what Feyre had with Tamlin.

"So I let my arrow fly.
The tip glittered like a shooting star through the gloom of the forest. I had all of a blink before it struck home and blood sprayed."
EVEN HER SHOOTING HAS TO DO WITH THE NIGHT/STARS. Sheesh, Feyre, just switch and be happy lol

LOL was just thinking the same thing today, about things going the way we want.

That's where I ordered mine from too! Buuut I don't exactly live close to Florida, so I can't drive there, haha. I hope it gets here earlier but Tuesday is still a week early and I have no complaints. So happy Aqsa found that store and linked me otherwise I may have exploded this week, haha.

I was just telling Aqsa I have this horrible theory. You know the downfall of Anakin Skywalker? It was his fear of losing Padme, which was twisted by the emperor.
So what if we get something similar. Ianthe is the one that fuels Tamlin's fear of losing Feyre and he becomes so desperate that he seeks out someone who might be able to break a bargain--the king of hybern. The king promises to break the bargain on the condition that Tamlin allies with him.

Ahahah I'm with you on this. This twist would be awesome and very interesting but I want Rhys to remain the meanest and coolest antagonist ^^.

Tamlin being the antagonist OR even aiding the antagonist aka the King of Hybern for something in return would be a cool twist-- definitely not unsurprising to me, considering Tamlin has been on edge and I can see him taking drastic measures like that.
Also, I was just discussing with Rose and she asked if I thought Tamlin and Rhys would fight and we would get a full on beast mode fight. What do you guys think??

I can't see Tamlin shifting completely into villain territory and being all YES SLAY THE HUMANS with the king, but I do think he could become desperate enough to bargain with the king to get Feyre out of her bargain with Rhys. And I'm about 99% sure Ianthe will be part of Tamlin's downward spiral.
On one hand, I feel like it'd be an awesome twist if he turns antagonistic. On another, I can't really see it. I mean, he has Lucien. Think of what he did for Lucien. But again, doesn't mean Tam won't lose his mind a little. Ianthe will just make it worse.

Damn you are so lucky. I won't be able to read it until it's available at my public library. After you read it you need to create some sort of spoiler thread and share all the juicy details with us.
