I finished The Proposal today and gave it ★★½. I really think it was the narrator. It was slow and lacked that sweet angst that I was hoping for.

Macwolf01 (Elise) - A Billionaire Takes a Hard Line (Alpha Billionaire Romantic Suspense) by Nic Saint finished 8/31 ★ ★

I really enjoy this author so I was taken by surprise when this poor girl was used and abused by different men...or shall I say animals. The girl liked rough sex which is fine but when she says NO, NO is NO it does not mean to continue to have your way with her and then throw her to three more men to rape and beat her. The only saving grace is that she found a guy that was willing to give her everything she needed and not abuse her.

@Penney: I finished and gave it ★★★★½. Hands down the BEST in the series. It was what I had expected all along from this series. Provocative storytelling and interesting plot with romance.

Unusual Child (beppy): I enjoyed ★★★½. It wasn't as good as the prior story but it was still good. Webber knows how to deliver angst!

Dana: I wasn't sure I'd like ★★★. but it won me over in the middle. the heroine was annoying but I ended up liking her a little more.

This month, I continued to knock off some of these recs

@~Leslie~: I didn't enjoy and gave it ★★½. It was too much HF, and not enough HR for me.

Debbie: was ok and it was ★★★. I expected more but the story was kinda weak. But it is a book 1, and I will try book 2.

Shelby (BP): would have been better if it were longer. I could only give it ★★★ as things happened so fast.

Unusual Child (beppy): was really good. It was ★★★★ for me. I am continuing the sequel with a BR in December

Zara: I waited months for the audio and was really good. I gave it ★★★★½ and then I listened to the sequel.
