Writers need to stand up when the Media wont take a stand because Racism is an ugly thing and it has no place in a civilized society. With all the recent wars and now rage filled riots in the streets of America its very disturbing to me because I really think we can build a better, fairer world. "The Knights of the Cold War and the Road to Bin Laden" is so much more than an exciting, terrifying and laugh-out-loud thriller, it is filled with social commentary on third world exploitation, racism, bigotry and injustice. I had really hope to get more who feel as I do to join my FREE giveaway because I really would value their opinion as to if I succeeded in writing a book that has some valuable to say. Racism affects everyone, not just people of color, here is part of post from my Facebook page: History is truly the world’s worst teacher because mankind seems unable to learn from it. It’s a pity that we have been such poor students of the injustices of the past. Bigotry and racism survive because people object to it only when it’s directed toward them, but they often readily accept it or ignore it when it’s directed toward others. Beyond this we must understand that there are two kinds of racism: being treated worse because of your ethnicity and being treated better because of your ethnicity. Both are racism, and both are wrong.
That’s why I write, to make this a better world.
