It's not that I want more... it's just that this is not an end! And this thing is extremely annoying, at least for me! I was enjoying the reading, but now... I'm not so sure! I was hoping, too, that Helene would be named Empress, because Marcus is not a good choice (I mean, is Marcus, so he can't be a good choise. It's simply the worst one!). I've finally started to like him a bit more now. At first when I saw that I was reading from his POV I rolled my eyes and bared with it but now I enjoy reading from his POV

(view spoiler)[ I thought this was a really good book. I loved how Laia didn't start off being brave. She got braver and braver as the book went on because she wanted to save Darin.
I still can't decide between Keenan and Elias. I can sense that she is going to choose Elias but for some reason I just like Keenan.

just finished 16% (view spoiler)[ i love the conflict elias is feeling. he's expected to be so great because his mum is the leader, yet he is too compassionate to really belong with the other Masks. I feel like he will be the new Emperor that the prophecy is predicting. I also had a sneaky suspicion that perhaps his mum is also Laia's mum? but I also feel like the author will make those two characters fall in love so perhaps not. Either way, im actually really enjoying the two POVs. In some books it really annoys me because I'm more attached to one character and just want to read from their side, like in the throne of glass series I much preferred Celaena's chapters to any one elses. But both Laia's and Elias' chapters are really interesting in this book! (hide spoiler)]

i finished upto 70%now (view spoiler)[ that is soo true emma !!i felt that too when i was reading and i honestly think that elias is a coward too behind the mask and shield .
He honestly does feel burdened about stuff from what is expected from him from his grandfather but that is no excuse !he makes really stupid decision at times .Laia and Elias have so much in commom they are both exoected to be something they are not and really ready for what is expected of them . I really like helene though !i just hope she doesnt turn into psycho gf by the time laia and elias fall in love because she would be badass in a badway as psycho gf :D .
