I'm a little early, as this starts on the 4th, but I've already started! (:
Chapters 1-5: (view spoiler)[ JESUS CHRIST, Eadlyn is the most annoying character I have ever encountered. She's such a spoiled brat, complains about everything, and doesn't listen to anyone. I literally hate her, what a terrible main character. I don't think ANYONE can relate to her. If she keeps up like this I don't think I'll enjoy this book at all. She makes me so irritated that I just want to throw my kindle across the room, holy crap. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 6-10: (view spoiler)[ God, she's still such a snotty little brat. I cannot get into this book for the life of me, when the main character is so hard to like. She's rude to her parents, rude to the boys, rude to EVERYONE. She deserved those people throwing food at her, and I'm glad they saw from the pictures of dinner that she's terrible. Why would the author make such an un-likable main character after the last one was so amazing and easy to relate to?! I just can't. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 11-15: (view spoiler)[ I'm just really glad there's a least a few likable characters in this book. Ahren is great, I'm starting to really like Kile, and Hale isn't too bad. Josie is as annoying as Eadlyn, so that's not good. Eadlyn needs to suck it up, she'll need to get married eventually so might as well use the most of her time in the Selection and find someone. I hope she picks Kile, although I would feel bad for him having to be with her. He's the best pick, I think. Eadlyn makes me want to rip my hair out more and more each page. UGH. I actually can't wait for this book to be done. Which is saying a lot, since I really enjoyed the first 3 books a lot. The author really messed up on this one. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 16-20: (view spoiler)[ Okay no, they're hinting at Maxon being sick and possibly dying, and I swear to god if he dies in this book or the next one I will flip out! No no no. But Jack is disgusting, I'm definitely rooting for Kile and Hale at this point in the book. And wtf is Maxon having an affair with one of the advisors ?!?!??!? Ahhhhhhhh (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 21-25: (view spoiler)[ TEAM ERIK, TEAM ERIK, TEAM ERIK!! He's so sweet, I know he's not apart of The Selection, but I'm definitely rooting for him! I can tell Eadlyn likes him too. And what is with all these crazy guys in the selection?! Jesus, I feel like this had crazier people then when Maxon had his selection. I still really like Kile too though, he's definitely my second runner up. (hide spoiler)]

So far I've read up to chapter 2, 5%

Luckily all the books from this series are available in my town's library, so I can spend my money on other books :D I don't know when will Lian be able to read The Crown, if it was up to me, I'd start it as soon as I finished this one!!

I really liked her in the three previous books and I feel bad to know that she can't have children even though she wants it so bad :( I hope they'll find a way to work it out. On a different note, could Josie be more repellent? She's not the princess of the castle! I've just read a couple lines about her and already dislike her... her brother though...
