He behaves like a child who's throwing a tantrum. I get that he's going to break you can see him steamrolling towards a nervous breakdown.

Joey's actually quite funny in his slouchy egotistical way, he's like a drugged up less angry Ronan. And watching the interaction between them is quite amusing and intriguing too.

And as quick as it began, it ended the truce between Joey and Ronan and they were back to enemies.

Gansey and Blue finally had a real conversation, although not about love or infatuation but about scholarships and college, for once their conversation real even if Blue's temper flared a few times. Gansey almost admitted something to Blue but he never finally got round to it he left the car to think. They shared a moment between them, Blue touching him made sense, she was his and he hers. They finally admitted what they felt for one another but they both decided what they shared couldn't go further, to hurt Adam to hurt himself either.

I'm glad it finally happened between them but it's a shame it couldn't go much further than that.

Up to Chapter 18: You guys were both so right about how annoying Adams attitude is. (view spoiler)[ I hate the way he snapped at Blue, the way he bit Ganseys head off about the church lowering his rent, and the way he expects everyone to be as horrible as he is. For all the time he spends whining about the boys judging him, he never stops judging them. And for as good of friends as they're supposed to be, he always assumes they'll do things completely out of character.

Blue really needs to just tell him about the curse.

Finished I liked this one even more than the 1st book the character development was so well done. (view spoiler)[ I was glad when Blue told Adam the truth he needed to hear that i felt he was way to cocky about having Blue as his girlfriend. I always thought Ronan was a good guy underneath getting to talk briefly to his father was just what he needed to get his head straight. Gansy cares a great deal about his friends he seems to know he needs them as much as they need him although he does love to be incharge lol 300 Fox Way what an interesting house that must be i just love all the ladies living there they are so interesting (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1-5: (view spoiler)[ Interesting switch on focus for this book. We're still getting different perspectives every chapter but the focus has definitely shifted to Ronan. I do like learning more about Ronan and seeing more than his rough, rebellious exterior. I like that we learn more about his relationship and view of his father. I just find it a little weird to be focusing on Ronan now. I know this is not the last book but switching from Blue to Ronan really threw me off. The dilemma with Blue's future "love" and what she really is was never resolved. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6-15: (view spoiler)[ Alright, I really like it so far, maybe even more than the first book. I feel like this book was more funny than the first or maybe it's because everyone's relationship was already established. I like that Blue has more color in her personality instead of the big blah I thought she was in the first book. In this book, she admitted her need to feel special, to feel that she can do something unlike when she's at home surrounded by psychics who are special. Back in the first book, she was just trying to get by in life and live with her family of psychics. The quest for finding Glendower really changed her. It gave her purpose, needs, friends, and made her believe magic real.

I can't believe she's dating Adam. I don't remember them dating in the first book. Did they start dating then? That came out of nowhere and I do feel bad for Adam because it's probably not going to last if she can't even tell Adam the truth of why she can't kiss him. On the other note, I love the development between Blue and Gansey. They're not a romantic connection yet but their relationship developed into a real friendship where Blue doesn't even care that Gansey calls her Jane. I think at this point, if they start to fall for each other then it'd be completely believable.

I'm very worried about the Gray Man. I'm curious what happened to Cabeswater (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[The boys are now in Ronan's house to try to discover which objects are from his father's dreams. Also, strange things keep happening (like all the cows sleeping? and the strange bird sleeping too? I hope it all makes sense because it's confusing me a lot.

I liked the scene where the Gray Man goes to Blue's house and the strange connection between this man and Blue's mom. (hide spoiler)]

I don't like Adam anymore. I loved him in the first book but now he is so agressive that he's becoming unbearable. I'm glad Blue is done with him.

I'm finishing the book today because I have only 12% left and I think the best is yet to come. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I ended up understanding almost everything and the book has a nice ending but I thought it would be even better. The first book ends with a huge cliffhanger and although this one has also one (where's Maura?)... I don't know, I don't find it as intriguing as the other ending.

I love the characters in this series so much, they're some of my favourites. they're written so well and the development is so interesting and the way they all interact is just so great aah I love them
