Does anyone else feel that Hero is a condensed version of Sylvia Day's Crossfire series? The two are veerrryy similar to me.

Yes they did. I was just glad this was a standalone novel and didn't need to wait years to get to the next book.
I think there are not many similarities in these books! For one Gideon and Eva don't share the same tragic past. Also the relationship between Caine and Alexa is on an entirely different level.Samantha was definitely not dragging the story!!!

Iam glad samantha decided to make this one a standalone and not drag and overuse and abuse the storyline .
