The chapters in second person definitely add to the whole magical effect of this impossible world of illusions. And I think I'd love to see Poppet and Widget's tent. Also, what do people think of Bailey?

I think I would most want to meet Celia because she's adorable and seems to be like the type of person I'd like to be around. Tent would definitely have to be the cloud one, it sounds super fun but I'd be afraid to jump down, haha.
As for food. I'll take anything from the midnight feasts. *.*
The pieces written in first person add more description to the story. I love them because it makes me feel like I'm really there.
Yes, I kind of feel sorry that there's people being used, but I mean, sometimes it has to happen .
I wouldn't mind being trapped by the circus, it sounds like a lot of fun to stay there and never getting sick is definitely a plus.

my favourite character is actually isobel. i am halfway through part 2 at the moment and i really like her. im intrigued about the way the circus seems to trap everyone there. is that marcos doing or is that just the way of the circus anyway? the carousel is my favourite

I ADORED Isobel in the 2nd part but then I didn't really love her
i just finished part 2 and have to sag bailey, poppet and widget all together are my current favourites. i wasnt that impressed with the end of part 2, i had hoped we would get to read about how marco felt being so close to celia than just from her point of view. celia is one of my lesser favourite characters though so im a bit biased.i love the parts written by friedrick thiessen at the start of each chapter. it makes it all feel so real!
im hoping there will be more about the actual competition in part 3 - not much seemed to be done in part 2

I finished part two and I'm having a hard time continuing, I feel like I'm losing interest in the book.

I always use my weekend to read this book, so tonight I'm starting part 3 and I'm excited!
Jasmine. I know that feeling but I'm going to finish it. It just seems like it's dragging on to me. I hope parts 4 and 5 pick up the pace.

All of the characters are really cool idk how people are picking just one! Celia is just so perfect, but Isobel is cool too, and then you have Bailey and Poppet and Widget- just how?
Hopefully by the end, we'll both like it.
its good to have different opinions in a book club. its one of my favourite books and i really love everything about it. but if everyone else felt the same the discussions would be boring!feel free to write anything you dont like about the story. that's what these discussions are for (:
Don't mind me guys! I'm just more than a little behind haha. I feel bad for Isobel, but I love the developing relationship between Celia and Marco and I also love the friendship between poppet, widget, and Bailey too.
poppet, widget and bailey are my favourite. maybe because they're younger and seem more innocent and fun to me
