Janny (jannywurts) | 1006 comments It is now the last day of October - and I wish to thank every one of you in Beyond Reality for nominating my title, and creating this space for a delightful and fun interaction.

Though the month has ended, I am still on GoodReads, and a member of this group (you've won me over) so I will still be available to anyone who is still reading, or who has yet to pick up the book. Don't hesitate to continue the discussion, or ask whatever you like for as long as the folder is operative.

I can be messaged, too, on GoodReads, or at my standard e mail, found on my website www.paravia.com/JannyWurts

If I can be of any assistance to anyone who might wish to read other works, ask for a steer, since I don't write the same story twice. Let's improve the odds that the next title might please you. If you don't want my suggestion, some titles on the website have excerpts or mp3 audio teasers posted.

I am always looking for the best of new reads, myself, so please share your favorites in return. I don't take your time, or your opinions for granted. You've been delightful hosts for this discussion. Let it continue to be a rich experience for all of us.

Kelly (sisimka) Thanks for participating and making the discussion so interesting. I've yet to finish the book myself. I don't read as much fantasy as I used to. There can be a lot of 'sameness' about it - but from the comments and what I've read so far, yours will stand out. I'm looking forward to my next fantasy urge so I can sink deep into the story. It's great to know you'll be around to discuss it later on.

As always, our voting is open for three months, providing a vague time frame in which a novel is 'current' for discussion. But the folders never go away, and can be re-opened at any time!

Thanks again!

If you still think "sameness" when you've read the last page, I'll eat the page, honest. Great to have such cool moderators - thanks for crafting a great group. The advantage of a living author is being able to ask.

This is a critical year for me, with nine titles reissuing in the USA within a year, and a tenth due out in first release in 2010 - so the timing could not be more serendipitous.

I really appreciate the opportunity to get to know a group of new readers.

Christine (chrisarrow) I'll second what Sisimka said. Thank you very much for being a big participent in the discussion.

Chris Haught (haughtc) I'll third it. Thank you Janny for the privilege of answering our questions and responding to feedback. It's been a great treat. A great discussion and a wonderful read.

Jon (jonmoss) You made my October a very enjoyable month, Janny. Thanks again for sharing of yourself, your time and your talents.

Shellie (Layers of Thought) (shelliesshelves) | 15 comments Janny - I am just starting your Beyond Reality nominated book selection. Its great to know that you are available for questions and discussions still. It makes being here in this group and on Goodreads more fun, exciting, and interesting. Thank you!

I have not yet read the book, but I have valued your comments about your writing and the book and look forward to reading some of your work. Thanks for joining us!

Ron (ronbacardi) | 302 comments Chiming in with the above, thanks Janny, and I'm glad you'll be sticking around here. This has been a fun month.

edit: just adding, I was having a beer with my next-door neighbor tonight, and he told me he had just finished reading volume 8 of 'Wars of Light and Shadow', which I take to be 'Stormed Fortress', and he says it's the best so far. So there.

Janny (jannywurts) | 1006 comments You are all so very welcome, Sisimka, Chris, Chris, Jon, Shellie, Kathie and Ron.

Jon - your map packet should be there by now...I put in some extra goodies.

Chris number 2, I see you've just finished! So Shellie and others who are still reading, or about to start, you are likely to be in good company.

Kathi - if you want a simpler or quicker read to start, let me know.

And Ron - way COOL on your friend just finishing, volume 8 in the Wars of Light and Shadow - yes, that would be Stormed Fortress - better HAD be the best so far - I'd take it seriously amiss if it wasn't!....whyever mess about with a long work if the thing doesn't build and astonish the more for the length? The entire volume is payoff, and I did that, you betcha, so I would not have a disappointed reader ask to me to eat the book!
More, thank you very much for reporting this.

It's a signature mark, and a personal requirement, a good story needs a resounding finish. This book winds up the third of five story arcs, and it has to be a major event, being the tipping point, too, for the whole series.

Tell your neighbor, the best yet is still coming, or I'll buy him the beer, with pleasure. ;-)
