Need help adding ISBN & cover to new book edition

There's already a Kindle edition of this book on the site. I wanted to add the paperback edition, and encountered some problems....

First of all, the Kindle edition is supposed to have an ASIN number, NOT an ISBN number. Yet, whoever added it used the ISBN-13 number. Well, when I was preparing the new listing, and put in the ISBN-10 number, the GR system wouldn't take it. I got a message stating that the ISBN-13 had already been added by someone else. But I was trying to add the ISBN-10! So I don't understand why I wasn't able to do so.

Second, I made sure to add a cover, since I once forgot to put one in when adding a new book. However, when the listing finally went through, there was no cover included, even though, as I have already stated, I made SURE to add one! Could it be that the cover I tried to add was much too big? It was 480 pixels wide.

About the cover: non-librarians can only add covers while adding a book, they cannot edit the record later. GR automatically adapts the size. If you give a link to the image (please state the source if it's not clear), a librarian can add it for you. ETA I have also noticed that after you get the ISBN error message and make the changes, the uploaded cover isn't added for some reason. Very annoying indeed!

About the ISBN/ASIN: this is really weird. On the edit page it states the ASIN. In the changelog however, there is only the ISBN, automatically imported. No way to change it that I can see. Perhaps a super can take a look? https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

Hi,Lethe! I guess nothing can be done about putting in the ISBN-10 number..... As for the cover, I don't understand why it didn't upload. I first copied the photo from the Kindle edition into my computer's Pictures folder, then uploaded it to be included in the new listing. After I had done that, I saw the title of the photo appear right next to the "Browse" button, Then I clicked on "Save". The information went through (I had already cleared the space for the ISBN-10 number), but no cover picture appeared!

The link you have provided above is the one for the Kindle edition of the book. I hope a super can help by using the photo in that listing, and adding it to my new one....
