I preordered the paperback copy but it's not released until the 21st here even though the ebook was released today. Looks like I'll be starting it a bit late!

Picking up mine today! I was surprised that my library had an actual book ready, usually they are a bit behind the curve. Luckily they have an ebook site as well and if it doesn't show up on the ebook site and the actual book is ten people deep, I can request the ebook version and it's available by the end of that day.

This picks up right where book 2 stopped! Raffe right from the beginning. I'm about 15% invested.

But I loved this book. so happy that I wasn't let down by this ending.
Love how Penryn and her family finally come together and a bunch of strong women to take on the angels and whoever else threatens them. (hide spoiler)]

Finished!! SO good! (view spoiler)[ This is the first series I've finished reading and have been ok that the story is over. Everything works out, everyone is as happy as they can be in a post apocalyptic world and the women were the real heroes!! (hide spoiler)] I really liked reading Susan Ee, I hope to read more from her.

I have so many trilogies/series where I read the last book and feel disappointment. Some feel rushed, others incomplete. This one was great, there was an actual end to the book.

OK as soon as I finish Trial by Fire (I'm on the last chapter now) I will finish this book - I bought this one so I wasn't on a time restraint.

OMG I can't wait for the ending! I want to read all of your spoilers so bad, but I'm holding back until I finish.

Why does work and sleep keep getting in the way WHY! I just don't want to put this book down but I keep having to.

I'm glad we did this series too. It was a great choice.
And yes! The mom was fantastic in the last book!
