Y'all I just got the most OUTRAGEOUS email from Goodreads. I was emailing them and they replied saying "Hi Clare,Our team appreciates you sharing this feedback with us. Please bear in mind that we remove features that have very low usage to improve our members' experience.

low usage is INSANE?!? ik soo many people that use it EVERYDAY
I told them it was one of the most used features and they told me they would "forward it on to the relevant team." Somehow I doubt that🤨
lmao this sucks, they got rid of creative writing back a few years ago. now pms/dms.. i wonder if groups are next?
anyways gonna go make different gmail accounts and rate them a 1 star. sighhhh this is going to make me pack my virtual bags, and move to a new website/app.

I've been trying to get a straight answer if GR is also removing the ability to post external links and images from messages within groups...I finally got something that suggests they are...Hi Beige,
While direct messages between individual members are being discontinued, you'll still be able to:
Send messages in groups
Message authors through their profile
The new restrictions on images and external links will apply to these remaining message types, which is why this information is included in the update. We hope this helps clarify the changes!
