A little over 80 pages in at this point - the case gets worse by the minute. It's already starting to spread like wildfire in the small town/small county, which isn't a good thing either. But I'm liking the writing so far. The subject matter reminds me a little of Greg Iles' writing (though his novels were centered in Mississippi), and the story is giving me True Detective and Criminal Minds vibes.

Are you pulled into Titus Crown’s internal struggle, the layers of Charon County’s history, or the slow reveal of the case at the center of it all? Which moments or themes are hitting hardest so far?
