(view spoiler)[ so it looks like the Vampires were only give a part of the information. Now Mr Tiny is saying that they can win if they kill the Vampaneze Lord BUT only 3 Vampire may hunt him down and kill him, however they may take as many non vampires with them as they like. (hide spoiler)]

I've finished it not as good as the last one but it added a lot to the world I liked that we get to see the princes and learn more about Vampire politics but this was a setup book and didn't do a good job of hiding it. It exampled some crucial things for the rest of the series but it felt incomplete. It was too short and was all just a way to set up the problem of the next book (view spoiler)[ tho I'm really pumped for the trial Darren has to do!! (hide spoiler)]

It makes perfect sense to do what he has done keep them short and interesting some are just way better than others but they are all still a good read.

It was pretty good I feel it would have been much better if it was combined with Vampire Mountain. Both book felt too short and incomplete. This one stuffed less then Vampire Mountain because that book was all the build up and this one was all the action filled pay off.
