Ch 1-2 I couldn't wait to find out what the trials were what Darren would have to face and this is kept me reading the book

Ch 3-4 (view spoiler)[The mental map definitely came in use and the The Aqua trial as Darren starts to panic as he thinks he is lost after he has calmed down he continues in the maze and find one of his pointers and the map comes flooding back to him(view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

I really enjoyed this book (view spoiler)[ Poor Darren he must feel his life is over. The heart wrenching thought of having to leave his family but I can understand why at the time he felt he needed to go as he would never forgive himself if he ever hurt any of them (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ A very blood thirsty story and heart breaking when Sam died :( RV should have lost more than his hands. I'm worried that he may turn up again as there was no conclusion to his part of the story :( (hide spoiler)]

I kept thinking Darren would never do anything to hurt Debbie but but maybe he would in order to save Evra. Phew what a brilliant plan thank goodness it all came off right (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 4 (view spoiler)[Water Maze Darren was expected to travel a maze with a rock tied to him while it fills with water ekkkk. 17 minutes was the time it will take to fill and drown him if he does not find the way out.
