I own a physical copy and the page numbering is recorded incorrectly.

Book starts with 5 pages of reader quotes. It is followed by a page listing the author's other books.

Next comes a title page followed by the cataloguing page.

Next is a dedication page.

All these pages are unnumbered.

The story starts on the next unnumbered page followed on the next unnumbered page with a calendar entry of 'evidence' useful for the reader.

Page numbering starts on the next page at 2 and the story continues from there to page 495.

Pages 496-500 are acknowledgements. Page 501 is 'About the author. The final page is unnumbered and is a teaser for the new book.

Effectively the story is 496 pages in total.
