Ok so. Im a play and movie writer and need help. With tht new Frankenstein film, wuthering heights, and dracula trending, i want to write a gothic romance play. Its gothic winter and i feel like it would be such a fun time to write this. i know that vibe, but i have absolutely no ideas for plot ot characters. And ideas? tysm ily

This may be cliched, but you should totally have a dark, seggsy goth man that lives in a mansion and a smol bean of a girl that wanders in there after a storm and maybe a Stockholm Syndrom thing happens idk I wrote this on pure caffeine and 3 hours of sleep

You could do like a gothic version of a classic Disney movie, but with the roles reversed. Like, rapunzel saves the price from the tower, etc. idrk lol.

Think about Resident Evil & the T-Veronica virus which does not cause major physical deformation, & instead allows the host to retain full intellect while granting them enhanced abilities.
A scientific experiment.

Brought back from the dead. Maybe centuries have passed & their genetic mutation kept their skin cells amble & prestinene. Found in a tomb or crypt.

Flashbacks occur of how life used to be. Out~dated, out modded. Traditional to modern. Or maybe in Victorian times in England. Or maybe now in modern times for a comical gothic setting. (((Sweden more modern or England; Victorian Era.)))
Maybe she was Swedish viking & he's English.
Or maybe it's the opposite.

Her: Ingrid.

One could be wild, as the other tries to tame. But there is an inseparable thirst for violence, maybe flesh, or blood. Like a vampric. Weakness: choose something random or holy. Matters if its comical gothic or actual pure gothic vibes... .. .
Savage to Lady.
Brute to Gent.

Then add the nemesis. Maybe someone's mad because she's smarter than they are & plan to destroy her. Or maybe him. Out of jealousy either academic humiliation or an envious lover both work well.

Superpowers: Extreme intellect (accelerated learning curve &/or anomalistic instincts. Maybe both one before the other. Gain: Noble to ruin:Brute. Or savage to nobility. It works well both ways.)
