Josie thinks back to when she accompanied Lorelei back to her house and the series of things she did that now appear to be signals. She repeats them and Emily emerges. In this moment, was it clear to you that Lorelei and her daughters were prepared for some kind of threat? Did you have any imagination at the time as to what or whom could have attacked this family?

I know it was a plot ploy. How was it possible that Josie remembered that after three months? It was defiantly some sort of signal. My first thought was that whoever was living with them might have done it.

I knew there was a threat to this family, but my mind never took me in the right direction until later.
