The 1956 date refers to when it was first published not the date of copyright. Hoaglund's Wikipedia page also has it at 1956, but if you are certain the book was first published in 1955 I can dig a bit deeper.
A later copy with this ISBN has taken the ISBN fields, so I have put it in the description.

I guess I don't know the difference between the copyright and the published date, which is why I take photos of that page.
I have photos of the title page and everything on my photo area. But here is some of the info:

I prefer to photograph those pages as sometimes I find the copyright page a tad confusing on some books.
And the cover image I took myself from the book I own.
With time I will look through more books I own to see which ones need stuff added.
