Banshee (bansheethecat) | 245 comments My very first impressions were: "slow" and "I've seen that before in cli-fi". But I've reached 30% now and I've started to get really engaged in the journey of the character. It's quite atmospheric and emotional - both when it comes to the mystery of the MC's backstory and the wider background of the dying world.

Isn't it great when sticking around pays off?!

Cynda is still foggy after knee surgery. (cynda) | 209 comments I will read this weekend. Eco-dystopias have my attention after my reading Arboreality by Rebecca Campbell.

CosmicStargazer | 3 comments Migrations is the first book I have read in this bookclub and I am so glad I joined.

This book was not my typical sci-fi read. There are no spaceships or wormholes, but this book might be one of my favorites that I have ever read. The natural and environmental elements were spot on and so reflective of the world we are headed towards in the future.

It is tragic and beautiful and Charlotte McConaghy has an excellent writing style that kept me intrigued right to the end of the novel. I finished reading it at the beginning of November and I still think about the novel almost everyday.

Fantastic! Great read!

Liane | 141 comments Finally getting to this despite having since early December. Really enjoying the pacing in the audiobook.
