Luisa (deborahluisa) Ok. I recently discovered this wonderful brazilian author through her book series "Anômalos". She wasn't my favorite author, now i think she may be.

This last weekend there was an event in my city about fantastic literature, and she was here. So i went to this event and i was able to talk to her, take photos, she autographed my copy of her first book and we talked. Was amazing, i really liked to know her in person and discuss her book series with her. She was very kind to listen my thoughts about it, and fun person as well. So, i chose her second book series for this challenge (i'm dying to read.)

It's a dystopia, where there is people with different kind of super powers (called "anômalos or anomalous in a free translation to english") and normal people, but they must live in separated cities, like there are cities for normal people and cities for people with super powers. And there is this huge war going on. The story follows Sybil, a young girl who lived in a war zone until she discovers to have super powers and then she move to a new town, for people like her (with super powers), and is adopted for a new family and must discover and learn more about herself.

So this is the second book of the trilogy. (something like "the invisible menace" in a free translation to english). I know this book does not have any tranlations to other languages, and probably i will be alone in this, but here i go. :)
