Sometimes book characters need to be alone. Or sometimes they end up there by mistake or fate. Whatever the reason, this week your books are taking place in an isolated location.

What is the isolated location in your book? Would you go there?

The End of Drum-Time must be in that path too. Like Stolen, it’s about the Sami people who herd reindeer. They both fit isolated location, Indigenous character, Santa’s reindeer, and the path of the total eclipse. Drum time is historical fiction, while Stold is more contemporary.

I was there in 2008, and I can't imagine a place that would fit this prompt better.
