I was grabbing # 2,which I submitted 😉. Haha! I wanted it back, because right when the swap started I finally found a book to match it!

That happened to me the first time, a book I was going to read soon fit perfectly but I didn't know till I saw the blurb on the back. Since I got the last draw, I picked the number that I knew was mine.

I am happy with mine and actively didn't want most of the others. I submitted journalist since I wasn't aware of anything I had for it.

I wanted the travel essay, but I read enough of them anyway and it wouldn't have pushed me."

I looked at that and immediately thought you'd be happy with that one! If I was playing I would have loved this one, too.

Theresa | 16066 comments MelanieJoy - there are any number of mystery series featuring religious figures too - Brother Caedfael is a classic example.

Philip Gulley has a series of novels that are humorous, set in a small town in Indiana, and main character is Sam Gardner, pastor of the Harmony Friends' Meeting (Quakers). Not heavy on religious theme, but definitely speaks to kindness and tolerance.

The first in the series is Home to Harmony.

sounds a bit like the Mitford books, which feature a small town minister

Amy | 13114 comments I thought the book of longings was absolutely beautiful and it may even be in my top 10. Having Jesus and his wife as a central character is not as prolific as you would think. But in terms of central with the character, he’s kinda the one. Even I know that.
