Greetings! I'm new to this group and happy to be here! My name is Carolyn Summer Quinn and I'm the Author of 20 books with more in the works. I'm from Brooklyn, New York!
Good Morning, All--Michael Jack Webb here. Just received a prompt from GR to join this group. Looking forward to interacting with you. I've been writing supernatural thrillers for quite some time now. I've been both traditionally and Indy published and am now focused on the Indy side. I have 7 thrillers on Amazon, and 1 non-fiction. I write under both Michael J Webb and my full name above. I've been blessed to reach Best Seller status for two of my novels and hoping for more, lol. Recently finished my 8th supernatural thriller in the Justice Chronicles series I hope will be ongoing for the foreseeable future. Planning on releasing Jackal in January. Currently working on Book 3 in the same series and researching Book 3 in the War of Men and Angels series titled Light Bringer (Infernal Gates and Devil's Cauldron are the first two). Completed a Pilot script for a 5-8 episode TV miniseries of my award-winning 4th thriller, The Oldest Enemy (also an audiobook), this Spring and have strong interest from 7 major production companies. Hope to nail down a sale/contract before the end of the year! Re-releasing my very first three novels after the first of the year as well, The Giants in the Earth trilogy, with updates and new covers. Keep and eye out. They're special to me and I hope they will be for you, :) I'll post my Amazon link and my website link under the conversation, Share My Books, or you can see them here on GR. I firmly believe we are in a very exciting season as Indy Authors. Time to have our voices heard like never before. For most of us it has been a long time coming, but keep faith, keep writing, and to paraphrase Winston Churchill: Never, never, never give up . . . .
Hi! I'm from Vancouver (Canada) and am the author of 5 published Literary Fiction novels, the editor of 1 collection of indie author short fiction, and always busy working on a variety of other things. You can find me, and links to all my works on my website: rtimmorris.com
I'm always happy to discover new readers and I love interacting with them, and I do enjoy finding new indie authors to follow and connect with on the same levels.
Happy to be here! I've been a writer since I could reach the typewriter (that dates me!) keys, a paid writer since 1997, and a full-timer since 2012. I write in many genres, but mostly in New Pulp-flavored Action/Adventure, Horror, and non-fiction articles. My work tends to be fun with a touch of humor, no matter how dark things get.
I'm here to learn and to share. Good meeting you all.
Hello, I'm Isobelle Cate, paranormal romance author of the Cynn Cruors Bloodline Series and it's spin-off, the Firebinders Series. I have another paranormal romance series called the Dragon Hearts series and a contemporary romance series. However, I've been concentrating on the Cynn Cruors and Firebinders at the moment. They are vampire-werewolf hybrids (Cynn Cruors) and long living mortals with lava level fire in their blood (Firebinders). I've returned after a hiatus from writing and getting my feet wet again! I think that writers do need to take a break and get away from the laptop/desktop to gain persective in writing. Sometimes writing too much isn't just a breeding ground for writer's block; but when you lose perspective, it is possible to no longer want to write. The hiatus was very much needed. Glad to enter the writing world again, be here and meet all of you. :)
Hello all, hope you are well. Mark Robertson here - author of, "From Handbags to Hand Grenades" and struggling to climb the mountain called book promotion and selling. Seems to me that unless you have a cool half a million to spend then you've got no chance of getting anywhere. Tell me your experiences of the high's and low's of selling as I'd love to hear your thoughts too. From Handbags to Hand Grenades is a true story of an inspirational woman and can be found on Amazon here... https://www.amazon.com/Handbags-Hand-...
Hello Everyone, I am Aswanth Madhav , I focus my writing style on trying to make the readers feel and imagine the feelings and the story rather than just reading it . I have written 2 books , 1. Simply Yours 2. The Hotel , Simply yours takes you through the meaning of love as i see it , The hotel is a psychological thriller . I am currently trying to figure out my ways to make my writing reach people and get reviews , but as it so happens getting people to read something new without actually being established is pretty hard . I would love to hear your thoughts on these books , they can be found on amazon

Hi! I am new to this group. Writing is just one of my many passions. Committed to physical fitness for most of my life, I dedicate 90 minutes a day to the gym after working as a one-on-one tutor for children with language-based learning disabilities. My active lifestyle also includes playing pickleball, biking, and swimming. I am a mom to three young adults forging their paths. I enjoy strategy-based games like Backgammon, Scrabble, and Rummy 500, and am an avid reader of autobiographies, historical fiction, and books that promote empathy and moral character development.I am a strong advocate for adopting pets from shelters and embracing sustainable practices. I believe in recycling, reusing, and repurposing to reduce waste. I believe that learning never stops, and perseverance is key. To me, success isn’t measured by wealth but by the number of lives one touches.
In my next life, I dream of being more than just the Boston Celtics’ number one fan—I hope to be part of the organization in any capacity.
Hello, I am a retired oncology/IT pharmacist. My storytelling style and structure are eclectic, but always character-driven and filled with tales of real life, history, and humor. I believe authors have a contract with the reader to write a complete story, and if I do not keep readers up at night, thinking about the characters and wondering where they are now, long after they have finished reading, then I am not doing my job. Thus far, I have four published novels:
The Jonathan Dearfield Trilogy:
Perfect Posture: a cop-vs-killer psychological thriller set in Chicago - The Jonathan Dearfield Trilogy Book 1
Deep Waters: a historical mystery thriller about the extraordinary life of a sailor who survived the sinking of the USS Indianapolis - The Jonathan Dearfield Trilogy Book 2
Daddy's Girl: a not-what-it-seems father-daughter murder mystery/suspense thriller - The Jonathan Dearfield Trilogy Book 3And a new biotech thriller:
The Resistance Gene: a genetic showdown between profit-driven science and the untamed resistance of life itselfThank you for listening!
Live to read . . . read to live . . .
I’m Maritza M. Mejia, an indie author who believes in the power of storytelling to unite hearts and cultures. Writing in both English and Spanish allows me to reach readers across borders and share the beauty of two worlds that shape my voice. My indie journey began with a simple desire — to tell stories that matter and inspire others to become their best selves. Through poetry, non-fiction, and bilingual fiction for children and adults, I explore themes of faith, respect, tolerance, and environmental justice.
Follow my journey as I continue exploring new stories, voices, and ways to inspire.
I appreciate your support!🌷www.luzdelmes.com
Hi I’m Kelly Noll, author of A Second Revolution and 4 children’s books about motocross. I’d love simple tips on how to reach people to let them know about my books. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Hi, I'm Donna. I've been writing since my college days. Had my first romance published about 30 years ago, as well as several others. I write mostly Christian romances and most currently a non-fiction book about why people should read the Bible. I have worked as an editor for several e-publishers as well as a proofreader if anyone is in need of services.
I still work a full time job so I have gone many dry years in between books. I am looking forward to changing that, as well as finding ways to draw attention to my books.
I happily share posts for others, having run a blog in prior years... donnabsnow.blogspot.com

Hello! My name is Bruce A. Humphrey, and I have recently published a book of poetry. It is my first book in this genre. I usually write novels. I want to present this for your perusal to see if I am on the right track. This is a short sample of one of the poems. What do you think?
Want or Will
How does a hungering child wait in silence before being fed?
How does a starving soldier march for miles to fight a battle?
How do a peoples have the will to fight for their lives?
How does a person needing friendship able to move forward?
How does a soul longing for love continue on?
How does a human thirsting for loyalty keep showing confidence?
How does an individual looking for trust wait for that one day?
How does a person who wants the truth wait against the lies?
How do people who are being oppressed endure an onslaught?

Recently, like most indie authors, I have been overwhelmed by AI generated marketing offers. Some are so well written that I have incorporated some of their phrases in my book descriptions on Amazon. It makes me wonder how they found my books (which are in different categories) since I have not been able to find them through ChatGPT.
Has anyone accepted any of the offers? Has anything good come of it?
