>cover was a photograph of a reflective spaceman helmet colorized blue and possibly purple
>it was mostly a story told with photography, each photo was in black and white, looking like objects (cars, toy robots, retro sci-fi props,) from the perspective of a child on a road trip narrated as though he was in space
>it was a short book, around 20-30 pages, very thin,
>the cover was laminated paper back with the pages themselves being glossy to the touch
>earliest I assume the book was printed would be 1995 maybe, it seems like it was when there was a resurgence of retro horror and sci-fi making its way in the 90s
>I bought this book in the United States, spent under $20usd on it
If anybody has any clues or leads in where to look I’m more than happy to try diving deeper elsewhere. I’m really curious since it was a huge artistic influence growing up
