Starting the readathon off with the reading sprint for Hour 1 has become somewhat of a tradition so here we go --- ready, steady, READ! I’ll be reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt
And.....we're off! The October Read-a-thon has officially started.

Best of luck to you - wishing for good books, comfy clothes, delicious food, treat drinks, coziness with fall, amusing social media updates, and endurance mood for the day💜
I started at 730 am, reading audiobook while checking out social media and waking up - PerrY Mason audio The Case of the Fiery Fingers
interrupting my sprint to leave and go to a local coffee shop because my husband took our son with him to the transfer station.
I read 34 pages of Agent Zigzag: A True Story of Nazi Espionage, Love, and Betrayal during that sprint. A great start to the readathon.

A lovely wish . Thank You ! Same to you 📖♥️
I am really trying to focus on the Sprints this year. I always get distracted throughout the read-a-thon and end up doing household and family stuff and frittering away my reading time. So THIS year I am trying to literally "drop everything and read" for each sprint. And then I can wonder off and do other stuff as I see fit in between (or continue reading of course) in between. BUT the sprints are my way to focus back on the reading! For the first sprint I read the entire hour and completed 38 Pages out of my first book
