I like these prompts! I wonder if it’s time to rejoin the fold. I read two whole books this year so far! 😁
Great, thanks! I'll start trying to match these with books on my wishlists! Maybe I'll try to do this list in order next year. I just discovered this group and am now trying to creatively fit my 2025 reads into this year's challenge to see if I can still complete it :)
So this is a dumb question (possibly), where can I find the prompt suggestions? Primarily ones that didn't make it for the 3rd topic.

Thanks for answering, GailW.
You can also always find that link on the Weekly Thread for the prompt!

Is there a StoryGraph link to a challenge affiliated with y’all or do I need to join someone else’s?

I'm a newbie here so I need to ask a question. Does it matter what edition we use on specific books as long as there is a book with that specific criteria. For instance, a primarily red, green, or blue cover...do we have to have that book?
Up to you! There's no police here, so some people opt to go with the default cover edition on Goodreads, no matter what edition they get from the library, and some people decide they want to only use the editions they actually read.
The only thing we ask is that you add the applicable edition to the group listopias if you are contributing to those. Otherwise, your challenge, your rules!

it's working for me, heather! if still isn't working though, on the challenges page. click 'add a challenge' and use the search bar to look for 'Around the Year in 52 Books (2026)'. it should pop up then
Emily wrote: "The mods don't have an official one set up! Feel free to use Rachel's!"i hope i didn't overstep by making this! if you won't to make a more "official" one, i'll happily take mine down. i made one last year & the year before so i didn't even question it, sorry.
I started so strong in 2025 but then have fizzled because trying to plan takes me half the month. So if I start now, I might actually read for all the prompts.
No you absolutely did not overstep! I don't know that any of the mods are on StoryGraph (or use it regularly/for challenges) so we likely wouldn't have set up anything official!

hmmm could I get a new link to the SG Challenge, please? It's saying the other one is invalid. Or if not a link the name of the Challenge so I can search it on SG.
Tabitha wrote: "hmmm could I get a new link to the SG Challenge, please? It's saying the other one is invalid. If it still doesn't work for you, the name of the challenge is Around the Year in 52 Books (2026).

Life sometimes has other plans for us which are quite challenging enough without extra challenges.

So sorry to hear this, Jen! I hope things are going better for you. We are always here whenever it works for our members, but there should be no guilt about dealing with what life throws at us.

Can someone point me to the printable list of the ATY26 prompts. Emily said she was going to make one but I’ve not been able to find it. Thanks :-)
It looks like this link is broken? “You can add your own tracking at https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group....”I looked at it last night and intended to post now but it seems offline.

It's best if you create your own plan (using "create a new topic" and choosing "2026 Plans" for the folder) so you can keep track of your progress and share your choices with the other members. If you need help finding ideas, you can have a look at the weekly topics, which will be posted shortly.
You can read in order or jump around, but keep this order in your plan, since this makes it easier for others to find a prompt and gain inspiration.
If you can't complete the challenge, it's not a problem. If one topic is too far out of your comfort zone or too difficult to fulfill, you can use a "Wild Card" and read something else for this week (reader's choice or past suggestions).
This listed is loosely sorted by months.
