sigh its hard to see people no like ur fav book series, buts its okie boo, everyone has opinions

One of us is lying…. Just bored me
A good girls guide to murder. Look I tried and I couldn’t finish the first book. I tried the movie too. Gave it the benefit of the doubt. But nope just. No thank you
Twisted hate I loved all the other books by her, but this book? Just no I didn’t like the characters at all.

As someone with a disabled brother, I also found the portrayal of Violet’s EDS really frustrating. The way the plot treats it as a “problem” only when plot what to address it. Most of the things she does — Violet just "pushes through" her symptoms, which can lead to permanent and severe injury for people with EDS. — are not something a person with EDS could actually do. My brother and his support group were equally unimpressed with how Violet’s condition was represented.

It has a good plot, I just kept falling asleep while reading it cuz I found the parts where not much was happening incredibly boring. Which sucks bc I rlllyyyyy wanted to like the books.
(Also, there’s another series called “the mortal instruments” and they are two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT book series’s. I love love love “the mortal instruments” btw)

This is why I haven’t read it yet. I do not want to be depressed reading dark romance.

I hated the writing and pretty much every character except Leo. The worst part is, I’m going to read book 2 because I need to know what happens with him, but I’m expecting to be irritated already.

yesssss like grayson was so much better and they had so much chemistry

I mean, I personally love Jamie, but I did mourn the fact that I never got Gray and Avery together.
I shipped them so hard and was heartbroken when Gray decided that he wouldn’t do anything about his feelings. (I blame Emily for that particular decision)
Tho I am glad she didn’t pull a Belly and date BOTH brothers😮💨

I'm sorry but it took so long to get good and their relationship only gets interesting at the end of this book and the start of the next one.

Honestly? No you shouldn't. I tried, got the same effect.
