Boy, the chat here is quiet for it being the last one! (I hope)

Are you suggesting we might only get one this round?

Oh gosh. If we just get one, please you mods just choose another and add it in. We'll never know. This is so fun while it lasts but it's time for it to be over!

Amy (Other Amy) | 755 comments I'm also surprised how little discussion there's been. Maybe we are all just sleepy.

message 55: by Erica (new)

Erica | 366 comments The mods picking the last prompt would be fine with me, if need be.

message 56: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 3259 comments I really tried to limit my votes this time, but I still ended up using all 8. Even though I liked more than I upvoted, and didn't totally dislike some I downvoted, I tried to vote based on where I still wanted my reading to go that either didn't have a place yet with other prompts, or had too much competition within a prompt, so one of these would give a top book another place to go.

4 UP and 4 DOWN

Pretty sure this is the most Down votes I've given. I think all the suggested prompts are good ideas, just maybe not for me. 🥰

message 57: by Martha (new)

Martha (marthag503) | 530 comments I voted 4 up, 4 down.

If we have another poll after this one I will spontaneously combust! Please pick a prompt, draw a straw to have a mod pick a prompt, anything but another poll!

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 3722 comments Sorry if I voted twice. When I came back 5 minutes later, the ballot was still open so I voted (again?) I might still be asleep. Sorry.

I only see one

No- don't know yet, there's still voting going on, who knows. I've learned never to make assumptions in voting, it keeps changing. I've celebrated prompts doing well before, for them to end up in the bottom at the end.

I, for one, am very sleepy.

message 63: by Jillian (new)

Jillian | 2953 comments I'm also really exhausted this week.

I'm also in favor of the top two prompts making it.

Good to know. Thanks.

I normally run a duplicate check towards the end of voting- don't know why since there's never been an unadmitted one (several times people do like you did but they also come here and ask us to check, like you did).

I think I must have hit clear instead of submit, that’s why it was still open but blank. Usually it closes automatically.

Conny | 656 comments It's so frustrating when it says results will be posted "in the morning" and then it's morning and I remember that it's still the middle of the night in the time zone whose morning counts :D

In other news, I am also mentally set on this being the last poll, so if for some reason only one gets through, please just smuggle in the second-best one, mods :D

I know. I thought I'd check before I left for work. :)

I’d be so impatient! I wake up really early and spend my morning checking in semi-obsessively for several hours knowing full well that “morning” central time is never going to be 5:00 am when I get up!
