I’m naming a side character today...do you prefer names that sound unique or ones that feel familiar and real?

Unique names can be real as well. I prefer unique names because characters from other books can blend together when they have the same name lol. Atleast for me

I like a blend of both! Something that feels unique, but not stupidly outlandish. Powerless did it well with Adena and Paedyn. They sound unique, but also not super out of place.

I like a blend of both, to be honest. Like in real life where you met people with the mix of both. I didn't know, but that was just me, I guess

I like unique names that have deeper meanings that suits the character.
