Is there a certain number of chapters to read by a certain date to avoid spoilers? How does this discussion work? TIA

I'm looking forward to reading this one as I'm a big Connelly fan. I've read books in all of his other series so I'm excited to see what this new character will be like.
Question for the readers: What are your most/least favorite Michael Connelly characters? What do/don't you like about them?
I'll try to keep up with the discussion but I'll be at sea for the next few days and may have a spotty connection.

Both Harry and Mickey were great characters, until it appeared that Mr. Connelly got too politically motivated. Accusing people that voted differently from the author being stupid is a great way to lose readers. I was leaving anyway as the Constitution became a stumbling block to both of them.

I posted a more detailed post in the spoiler thread, but I read this book and all I can really say is good grief. Did Michael Connolly actually write this?

I read this awhile ago and found it interesting. I enjoyed it as was a huge Bosch fan.
