(view spoiler)[it's pretty saddling that you only thing that he ever talks to is the AI, and even then he hates it. Noticeably, this phenomena is also now being apparent in today's world with the rise of AI chatbots so this novel is...weirdly realistic, with the loneliness of people. Maybe that's what this book is trying to do. (hide spoiler)]
