Justin (justinray) | 1 comments I have the second edition from 2010 in hand and just finished it. It is 108 pages. LCCN: 00-90516. The description on the back cover (not including the About the Author section) is as follows:
"In a day when early American history is often taught as if there were no religious fiber or influence in the settlement of America and the founding of the United States, Dr. Pickell seeks to clarify the record in this small volume. He points out that, while revisionists may think the religious influence irrelevant, the powerful effect of the Christian faith in the creation and shaping of America and its institutions should not be forgotten. Presbyterians, and others of the Reformed family of churches in particular, were primary players in this. Our Presbyterian Heritage gives an overview of the development of Presbyterianism from its biblical roots, to Calvin's Geneva, Knox's Scotland, and across the Atlantic."
