I've started this. Just a few quick thoughts from Part 2. (view spoiler)[I got a little lost in the last chapter. I'm hoping when Din reports to Ana I'll catch up on what's actually going on. I guess I was distracted over the weekend when trying to read this.
What I've gathered is some horrible contagion killed a whole lot of people. I'm enjoying this just as much as the first book! (hide spoiler)]

Yay! I finished. I didn't write a very long review but I enjoyed this one as much as the first.

I enjoyed the second book in the Shadow of the Leviathan series. It was fascinating to learn more about Ana, even though the author doesn’t reveal everything yet—an effective cliffhanger for the next installment. (view spoiler)[ I also appreciate the title, which feels very relevant to the story… how a single drop of “impure” blood can change a life. It even made me think of American history, where people with even a trace of Black ancestry could be ostracized. (hide spoiler)]

As for the story itself, I found it good overall, though some descriptions were difficult to picture—either because my English is getting a bit rusty or simply due to my own lack of imagination. In any case, I’m looking forward to reading Book 3.

I enjoyed this one a bit more than the first

(view spoiler)[ I enjoy the relationship Ana and Din have. It was refreshing to see another side of Din, not listening to Ana and still going out at night when she tols him not to. You can tell that they both care for each other.
I agree with Lorraine that the title was perfect for the story.
