Use this page to comment on and discuss Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo! If you are including spoilers either make it clear by writing ***SPOILERS before your post as to not ruin it for those who might not be done yet. Remember to be respectful!!!!

I remember really liking this book when I first read it, but I might actually have to re-read this one so I can read the second one!

Salma | Re-editing Reviews | 8 comments Can I read this without the shadow and bone trilogy? I'll be watching recaps of that instead

Yes, I read it this dualogy before SaB. In fact, I did not know it was a spin off. and I didn't know there was a show. I was a bit confused at first about the greisha world, but then it was smooth sailing

BTW, the show has huge spoilers for Six of Corws

Hahaha, if you don't finish it by the end of the month, you can still join in the discussion, it will just be in the series section under discussions.

I really do need to reread this so I can read the next one with it fresh on my mind!

Emily Rigdon | 31 comments Read Shadow and Bone earlier in the year, and just started this one, can't wait to see what all the hype is about!!

Salma | Re-editing Reviews | 8 comments Honestly, I need the biggest motivation for this duology. Every time I start it, I put it on hold. The long chapters are putting me off. I'm confused, which is understandable in a fantasy book, but, like, I am unable to push through it. :(

I don't know if you like audiobooks, but it might be helpful since the narrator automatically changes voices for the different characters, so you don't have to remember all of the details, just their voices. That usually helps me when starting a fantasy series. It allows me to focus on the other details more.

Emily Rigdon | 31 comments Finished! Okay, I loved it. I saw part of the ending, but there were plenty of twists that I certainly did not see coming. Crooked Kingdom is on next month's TBR for me for sure.
I did have one question, though. It might be a SPOILER, but not sure..

How did Kaz get the gold boot buckles at the very end??

Sarah | 3 comments It’s been a hot minute since I read this the first time around, long enough that I’m enjoying the re-read like it’s new. I do remember the Kaz/Inej dynamic really appealing to me: that held breath of tension that gets harder to let go the further you get into the book.

definitely! it's a pretty big book, but the characters all have interesting dynamics with each other and the heist is fairly well written. it might be a little difficult to get into at first, but once you're into it i think it's worth it.
