I'm reading Jo Beverley's new book and then Jessica Scott.

I just finished and really enjoyed it. A modern day fairytale with a billionaire hotel owner carrying the maiden off to his penthouse :-)

I'm in a bit of a reading slump. Started several books but didn't feel any compelling need to finish them. And I've been working on a suspense procedural for a few days but it's not holding my interest. But I'm excited for the release of the new Christina Lauren tomorrow, so there's that;)

I just finished Garden of Lies, an April 21 release that is vintage Amanda Quick and have begun reading Donna Alward's Summer on Lover's Island, an early May release.

I'm in a slump, so I'm reading The Bane Chronicles. I love Magnus & this is so far a pretty good book of short stories. It's making me wish the the new Shadow Hunter books were out. Then I may go read Hannah Howells new book.

I'm reading a new author this week: Lizzie Shane. No Goodreads links yet; the books are titled Marrying Mr. Perfect, Romancing Miss Right, and Falling for Mr. Wrong. These are contemporary romances that revolve around a fictional "reality" t.v. show. I adore them so far!

Still going from one deadline to another, but I'm hoarding books for when things slow down a little. Manda, a while back you recommended Abby Godwin to me--I *really* liked her first books and just grabbed 2 and 3 in that trilogy. I need to get her newest book as Simone St. James too.

Oh, I really loved this series! Each book was just too cute. Glad someone else has discovered this author.

I'm sort of up in the air with reading right now. I'm in the mood for a good Paranormal but all my go-to authors have let me down recently.

Just finished MISTRESS FIREBRAND by Donna Thorland (which I loved!), watched Sons of Liberty on my DVR over the weekend and am ready to start Turn, Season 2, which aired last night. I'm pretty well immersed in the Revolutionary War period. LOL

Not sure what's up next. I'm with you, Manda, I'm having a hard time staying with the few other books I've started. I think I'll flip through my TBR pile on my Kindle and see if anything jumps out at me.

I finished up The Salem Witch Society by K.N. Shields (library book).

I am now reading Amy And Matthew: A Love Story by Cammie McGovern (library book). I am really enjoying it so far.

You know, Theresa, after I recommended Abby Godwin to you I forgot to actually read her myself! So, I snapped up the first one in the trilogy--which is free! And I bought the new Simone St. James. Is it just me or was there very little promo for it? I knew it was coming out in April but I wasn't sure when. If I'd known it was out on the 7th I would have bought it then!

Irish, wasn't MISTRESS FIREBRAND so good? I wish she wrote faster, but I don't think she'd be as thoroughly researched. I'm willing to wait if it means her books will keep being so great. I've got TURN on the DVR too:) Vive la Revolution!

I just finished Jillian Hunter's first book in The Fenwick Sisters Affairs series, .

I really liked her earlier Boscastle series books, but this one was a disappointment because of the behavior of the main characters. It just wouldn't have happened in such a fashion with young children present. I will probably try the second book when it appears, in case things have improved. Hope so!

You guys aren't the only ones! I love Turn!!! I made a trip to Mount Vernon last Fall to see it bc of that show! (It doesn't hurt that Jaime Bell
is dreamy) I'll have to ck out Mistress Firebrand! I love that almost all the character in the show were real people and many action were based in real events.

Manda, hope you like it! It's got a HEA but does lead into book 2 pretty strongly, so I'm glad I can finish the trilogy now.

Rachel, you're going to love Donna Thorland. If you haven't already read The Turncoat and The Rebel Pirate you need to!

Good to know, Theresa. I'm kind of glad I waited so I can read them back to back. I hate waiting!

New author: Jenn Bennett wrote a story set in 1927 San Francisco called Bitter Spirits. Paranormal with a sexy twist, I think you will like it.

Manda, I'm currently reading and Perdita is driving me crazy. I love Archer and all of the others, but Perdita...

Please tell me you are going to do all of Archer's brothers not just Frederick? I can't wait to read Frederick's book now :-)

You're not alone, Stacey. I seem to have a knack for creating heroes readers love and heroines they loathe! (Or at least every third heroine anyway...)

I have plans for the rest of Archer's brothers. Don't worry!

Glad to hear there are more stories for Archer's brothers. I loved (don't read if you haven't read this story) (view spoiler)[ Archer's Mum telling Perdita about how before she met the Duke she had been married to a horrible man. It made me love them even more. You didn't make it obvious or known whether the boys know she had been married previously. Did you do that on purpose or did I miss that part? (hide spoiler)]
