Óscar Ledesma | 9 comments Hi,

Recently you helped me by adding my name (as a translator) to the two upcoming Spanish editions of this book ("Mi abuela me pidió que te dijera que lo siente" by Fredrik Backman, paperback and audiobook):

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

However, Goodreads still shows a supposed Kindle edition from 2024 translated by Arturo Duggal:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

But this edition was never published, there is no such Kindle version, here's the evidence:

1) A search in Amazon's Kindle catalog yields no results:
https://www.amazon.com/s?k=mi+abuela+...

2) The Amazon page of this book only has paperback and audiobook options available, and will be published in 2026:
https://us.amazon.com/Grandmother-Ask...

3) The publishing house's website of the book just shows "Paperback" and "Digital audiobook" as available formats (and also states that it will be published in 2026):
https://www.harpercollins.com/product...

4) It's not possible to find any site where you can download a Kindle version of this book in Spanish.

Considering all of this, would it be possible to delete the nonexistent Kindle version from Goodreads' catalogue? Or at the very least merge it with the ones that will be published next year, or adding my name as the translator?

Thanks a lot in advance for your time and your help.

Óscar

Shim (slimmy) | 3430 comments This ISBN appears on WorldCat with this information: https://search.worldcat.org/title/143...

Maybe it isn't actually a Spanish edition? Though I can't find this "Arturo Duggal" anywhere else.

Óscar Ledesma | 9 comments Thank you for your reply. In the page you mention it says "(Spanish edition)". I can only assume that it was planned by the publishing house, since I knew about it while I was doing other Backman books for them, but in the end it never went out and they asked me to translate it to Spanish, maybe that's why you can't find Arturo Duggal.
