Oh my god this book was such a pleasure to read for the first time. I never had a book that made me cry and laugh so much. My favorite character has to be Mrs.Bennet and of course Darcy and Lizzi. I think my favorite part of the book was when Elizabeth confessed her love for Mr.Darcy to her father and it was such a heartfelt moment that made me tear up or the chapter when the to be couple went for a walk and Elizabeth’s sister went away like I was screaming. Idk but like I loved every single part of this book and even though I have read Emma this one just hits different yk

"Oh Mr. Bennet, have you no compassion for my poor nerves?" Mrs. Bennet is a gem and the older you are, the more you can appreciate her and her efforts with her daughters. God bless her, at least she has two rich daughters now!
I just created like the post perfect playlist for reading romance/ dark romance books, idk how Spotify did it but the songs matched up perfectly with the timing of the chapters. I think I’m gonna die happy
P/P, of course, is brilliant. I hope you give "Persuasion" a try. It's probably my favorite Austen novel.
I just read persuasion and honestly why was it kinda so sad like even in the ending well not really . But for real this felt do different than p&p cause rather having a bunch of dialogues between the love interests, there’s a lot of glancing 😭 I loved how similar Charlotte from p&p and Anne are so similar and care so deeply about the people around them but it’s still heartbreaking that Charlotte could marry someone she truly loved but I guess Austen was showing the reality of many women of the time and even today along side the fact that money is often the base of problems.
