My name is Andrejs Vanags and I am an engineer. I am not particularly religious but have become more so after writing my books on the historicity of Jesus. I don't really believe in faith, as I think one's actions carry more weight, but I think there is room for people like me in Christianity. In engineering you require verification, proof. You start with a premise and follow it down to its conclusions and then verify if the results match actual test data. I have done so with the available data regarding the events around Jesus Christ and present the timeline of his life based on verifiable information, mostly astronomical events. I have tried to show the readers how to do it themselves and not to rely solely on what I am telling them.
