I got scammed😔😭

Yesterday I someone on marketplace said that they gave away the entire Mortal instruments series for free because they wanted to do a good deed. So OFCOURSE I messaged them that I'd like to pick them up (especially since I have finished my tbr, yes my tbr list from goodreads hasn't been updated lol ) but I genuinely can't afford new books so I was sooo excited!! But when I got back home I noticed 2 books had water damage and the rest was full of mold. My day is ruined.

Sorry that sounds awful. At least you didn’t have to pay anything. One time I ordered a “good” book off EBay and the book that came had a hole in the cover and awful bend marks. But again I’m sorry about what happened.
