Thoughts on the Series? Do you also prefer the first books in the series?

I'm not currently reading it but I'm on the 4th book I started on The Assassin's Blade and yes so far the series is worth it
The series seems good, I’m on the second one about to switch to heir of fire. I am following a recommended order that puts assassin’s blade after heir of fire. I LOVED the first book and the second is interesting, I see that it’s the book that predicts that more will be happening (that the story isn’t finished and a longer plot is coming)
I just finished kingdom of ash last night…. I’ve read assassins blade first and third because of my reread and I recommend it first 100%
Im reading heir of fire and so far every book was 5 stars except assassins blade which I rated 4,5 stars
just finished Tower of Dawn and I absolutely love the series, especially because there are so many plot twists and every small detail is so important to remember
I just started Queen of Shadows! I am loving it so far but there were a few moments in Heir of Fire which felt a tad repetitive..
@TCReally? I love the series but there are some books that were pretty boring compared to the others in the series!
im in the middle of heir of fire and it kinda put me in a reading slump 😞😞 someone tell me it gets better
I love heir of fire and it might be my favourite book in the series but it did feel kinda slow but the ending was worth it even tho it made me cry
I absolutely love this series, and for those who are saying that heir of fire was slow, you're right. But if you push through, the ending is amazing, sad and heartbreaking, but amazing.
yessss it’s my obsession atm!! just started tower of dawn and idkkkk how im feeling about jumping into a different storyline with how the last book ended :’)
Yes, just finished heir of fire. Not going to lie, it’s been a bit harder to get through than I anticipated. I thought it would be faster paced but still keeping the faith.
TOG is my fav series!! We are having a tog read in my discord server if anyone would want to join to talk about it https://discord.gg/8R9nyM7J
finished kingdom of ash a few days ago and can confirm i have not recovered yet and probably never will😔
I finished the series last year and I still haven't recovered...I found the first couple fo books a bit slow but when the story gets going you are really in for the ride of your life.Right now I am listening to the books again cause I missed the characters so much
I am !! I read The Assassin's Blade first and I'm currently reading The Crown of Midnight!! I'm really liking it so far !!
I’ve read Throne of Glass—it’s fun, fast, and definitely addictive. But honestly? The Fives’ Oath makes it feel like child’s play. Where Throne of Glass leans on tropes, The Fives’ Oath cuts deeper. The emotions are raw, the betrayals burn hotter, and Bryn’s struggle makes Celaena’s look almost easy. If you want a fantasy that doesn’t just entertain but wrecks you—in the best way—pick up The Fives’ Oath. The Fives' Oath: Legacy of the Bloodborn
I am! Currently in the middle of empire of storms💜 the first three books (tog, com, and assassin's blade) are like their own series. I honestly had a hard time getting into the first book, but near the end of tog I got into it and after heir of fire I am HOOKED. I had a similar experience reading queen of shadows as I did reading ACOMAF, so good.
I remember reading this first three book and liked them. I just never got around to finish it because of other books on my tbr. Might want to return to the series to finish it
Have fun reading ToG !!! I swear you just need to get past the first and second book and everything after that will already get you hooked so bad 😩
I also recommend reading the assassin's blade before heir of fire, because all of celaena's 👀 action in the first 2 books will make sense more, but well it's up to you really ✨
Im on EOS right now. Im absolutely in love with everything sbout this series. And FTR, I read Assassin’s Blade forst and idk how it would make sense in any other order. Also, I will not be tandem reading bc my brain cant handle something like that lol
I am rereading it rn and I legit forgot how good the series was. I'm on the last book and I actually cried 😭
