Please update the covers for the following titles:

Both titles by R.K. O'Brien. I've asked for over a year, so am I doing something wrong? I still see the old covers for the first two books in the series in GoodReads while Amazon has the new covers. I'm including Amazon's links to each book. Please advise.

Hello Rosemary, thank you for your patience as we work through the thousands of requests here. It looks like another librarian added alternate cover editions of these books back in December 2024.

Goodreads defaults to displaying the most popular edition (with the most shelvings) as the ‘primary edition’, meaning the one that displays on your author profile, and comes up first in searches for the title. I’m afraid librarians can’t change this, but luckily you can, as the author. If you would prefer to set the new covers as the primary editions you can…

* Go to the book page of the edition that you would like to set as the primary edition
* Click ‘Edit book details’ at the top of the page under the star rating (it has a grey oval shaped outline, and a picture of a pencil to the left hand side)
* On the right hand side of the edit page under the cover photo, you should see a list of six options in blue font - the second one down is ‘set this book as the primary edition for this work’.

Bear in mind it can sometimes take a bit of time to display properly on your author page.
