SEPTEMBER '25 SERIAL READER CHALLENGE

Flower of the Month: Aster


The aster flower symbolizes patience, love, good luck, and gained wisdom.

The name aster comes from the Greek word for star. ... In Greek mythology, the virgin goddess Astraea, who represents justice, innocence, and purity, was one of the last immortals to live on the earth with humans. Once she witnessed humans’ greed and chaos, she ascended into the sky and became the constellation Virgo. As she traveled into the sky, her tears left a trail of asters on the ground as a desire for fairness and peace.

I just finished my first for the month (Murder at the Mansion by Janet Finsilver ), the next in the series is already lined up to start reading tonight :D

I finished my 2nd ( Murder at the Fortune Teller's Table by Janet Finsilver ) on Sunday, and it looks as though I only have 2 left to go in this series :(

Finished my second, Queen of Hearts. I love the characters in this series and really liked Georgie's trip to Hollywood in this one. Lots of fun.

I finished my two from the Camper & Criminals series. #3 Forest, Fishing & Forgery finished 9/18 and then #4 Christmas, Criminals & Campers finished 9/19. I love that these are quick reads! I just can't stand the narrator on the audio version so I "have" to read the books. :)

I’m the exact opposite! I like listening because then I can’t see all the typos and other little corrections that need to be made.
